Field Service Technician:

We are currently looking for a full-time field technician.  This position reports to the Service Manager, whom under direct supervision, will perform maintenance tasks as well as troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field in a safe and professional manner.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform mainenance duties, e.g. replacing filters and oil, checking equipment for leaks or problems, cleaning up after each call, documenting work completed and reporting to the customer.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment- in the shop or out in the field.
  • Provide assistance to other technicians when needed.
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of orders, either to and from vendors or customers.
  • Various other duties.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

  • Have related maintenance experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Working knowledge of tools.
  • Electrical knowledge.
  • Valid CA drivers license.
  • Demonstrate a team-work attitude and possess good customer service skills.

Field Sales Engineer:

For 75 years, Osterbauer Compressor Service in Los Angeles has provided customers with high quality, Ingersoll-Rand industrial compressed air products and air system solutions.  Osterbauer is currently seeking a quality individual who can help us grow, and who desires to achieve a professional and rewarding sales career.  This sales professional will report to the Sales Manager.

Innovation is high, repetition is low and experience in a wide range of fields is called on to come up with solutions to effectively meet customers' needs.  We currently are looking for a sales professional who enjoys creating efficient, energy-saving solutions to customer’s air system challenges. 

Success in this position requires excellent interpersonal skills, self motivation, enthusiasm, a creative approach to solving customers’ challenges, and the ability to manage in order to meet customers’ standards and delivery commitments.  Aggressive business-to-business sales experience as well as experience in generating leads, cold calling and working off referrals is important. Strong hands-on skills needed for new equipment commissioning and shop support.
